The Green Bay Packers’ starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers refused to give Detroit Lions’ rookie wide receiver, Jameson Williams, his jersey after the Packers lost to the Lions on Sunday night.
It has become a tradition for NFL players to switch jerseys after games. Williams attempted to get Rodgers, but he was denied because the reigning NFL MVP wanted to keep the jersey, forcing many to speculate if it was his last game as a Packer.
“I gotta hold on to this one,” Rodgers said to Williams.

Rodgers does want to make it right with Williams by sending him a jersey.
“I think I might have told him I’d give him a jersey when we played in Detroit, so I’ll probably have to send him a jersey,” Rodgers said. “But there’s just some special ones that I like to keep. So it was nothing against Jameson. I’ll make sure I send him one, but I kind of want to keep this one.”
