Lane Kiffin had a great game plan in the 2020 matchup against Alabama as Ole Miss’ head coach.

He scored 48 points on the Crimson Tide; however, the Rebels allowed 63 points to the Tide.

Mississippi is in a position to represent the SEC West in Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game if it wins out the remainder of its season and LSU loses to Arkansas and Texas A&M. Alabama would be back in the driver’s seat for the SEC West if it wins out the rest of its schedule and LSU loses twice. For now, Nick Saban is focused on making a statement against Mississippi.

After a week of practice, the Crimson Tide wants to show everyone it has a lot to play for.

The marquee pregame notes for Alabama are below.

-Alabama’s defensive linemen DJ Dale and Jaheim Oatis went through warmups. Both did not play against Mississippi State because of an injury, but Oatis saw action against LSU.
